The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Athens is to inspire and enable
all young people, especially those at-risk, to realize their full potential
as responsible, caring and productive citizens.

The official Groundbreaking of the Joel E. Smilow Clubhouse took place on Thursday, May 15, at the construction site next to Howard B. Stroud Elementary School on Fourth Street.
